3. Triangles ABC, PQR and HIJ are all similar.

(a)  Calculate the length of AB. cm

(b)  What is the size of the angle ABC? °

(c)  Calculate the length of HJ. (Give your answer correct ot 1 d.p.) cm

4. The diagram below shows two similar rectangles, ABCD and EFGH.

(a)  If DC = 3 cm, what is the ratio of the areas of the rectangles? 1 :

(b)  If the ratio of the areas is 9 : 16, what is the length of DC?
